杰卡斯在国内一直以来给人的印象就是大酒厂，餐酒等等，归根结底还是在于产量太大，超市，便利店随处可见。再加上广告铺天盖地，杰卡斯不可避免的被打上商业酒的标签。其实对与大酒厂来说，在确保产量的同时，还要保证质量，是一件非常困难的事情。杰卡斯旗下产品系列众多，而日常餐酒又占据了很大的一部分，想要每款酒都是精品，几乎是不可能完成的任务。但是这并不代表杰卡斯这个在澳洲历史悠久的著名酒厂没有高质量酒款，这次在香港Vinexpo上喝到的3支酒，很大程度上改变了我对杰卡斯的看法。

If talking about Jacob’s Creek in China, it is easy to connect with the impression of big winery, table wine, etc, which result from the large production so that the products can be seen anywhere even including supermarket and Convenience store. Furthermore, advertisement here and there unavoidably made the Jacob’s Creek labeled commercial wine. In fact, to a large winery, it is very difficult to guarantee the quality as well as the quantity. Jacob’s Creek has lots of product series, however the table wine account for large proportion, so there almost to be mission impossible to require each products of Jacob’s Creek to the quality wine.

当天的3支酒都用了醒酒器，因此都表现良好，优雅复杂，但又不乏南澳酒的强劲和野性。

All the three wines which used on that day performance well, elegant, complex, plenty of the characteristic of power and savagery that indicated they are south-Australian wines.

Jacob's Creek St Hugo Barossa Grenacha/Shiraz/Mataro 2010

Clear ruby. Pronounced, but elegant nose of rose, perfume, dark chocolate, unripen cherry, truffle, wild berry. Full of meat, clove, citrus-peel notes on the palate. Medium body but silky texture. Medium+ acidity, firm tannin.

Jacob's Creek St Hugo Barossa Shiraz 2008

Deep purple-red. Medium+ aroma of clove, dark chocolate, black pepper, dark cherrt, lemon butter. Plenty of flower, sour cherry, clove notes on the palate. Silky tannin with crisp acidity. Medium+ vanilla length.

Jacob's Creek St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Garnet. Intense aroam of prune, dark berry, iron-steel, coffee, violet, clove, cinnamon, leather. Silky, spicy texture. Very dry mouthfeel.

P.S.最后还试了一支装在醒酒器里未命名的酒，纠缠了酿酒师老半天，想要了解下这款酒的名字，无果。。。只有等到下次有机会拜访酒庄吧。
